KYCC Elections
Highworth students all took part in the KYCC elections on 15 November. Candidates spoke to students in an assembly. Then the whole school voted to select candidates and express their views about the most important campaigns for young people in Kent. The following were selected: free school meals and tackling poverty; public transport; and mental health and wellbeing. Congratulations to the five Highworth students who were successful in being appointed as part of the Kent Youth County Council and everyone who took part:
