World Languages Day
On Thursday 27 June, fifteen Year 8 students had the exciting opportunity to attend World Languages Day at the University of Kent, where they enjoyed learning new languages and participating in competitions. Esmé most enjoyed learning Japanese and would definitely recommend the fun and caring environment, while Elizabeth appreciated the Norwegian "Go Fish" games: "It was fun and I connected with other students in different communities." Martha found the topics particularly interesting, for example Ukrainian, which was very informative. Poppie summed up the experience for everyone: "I really enjoyed it and it was very fun."
