Hockey Trip to Blackpool
The year 7 hockey team had an exciting opportunity to go and play hockey against other schools and clubs in Blackpool from Friday 1 to Sunday 3 March. Students stayed in a hotel in Lytham, and played hockey on the Saturday. They faced some tough competition and learnt lots of new skills. Each team played 5 matches each and then went into the playoffs. AKS School hosted the tournament, as they have for a number of years. We’re grateful that they let us join them, also a huge you to the Friends of Highworth who helped to fund this trip.
