Rounders Day and Sports Day
Further resilience was needed from staff and students when Monday’s sporting event was interrupted by a heavy downpour. All matches were concluded on Thursday afternoon when we witnessed true competitive spirit among the Communities. The final results were VM first, AB second, CS third, JP fourth, EG fifth, NS sixth and KK seventh.
Sports Day on Wednesday was a much sunnier affair and, as always, proved to be a successful sporting event which caters for all abilities. The event was supported by about 130 staff hosting events, ranging from the pentathlon to welly slinging. Thank you to Miss Cassey and the PE Department for organising the day and to all of the students for their contributions. The final results were AB first, KK second, JP third, NS fourth, CS fifth, VM sixth and EG seventh.
