District Athletics Competition
This competition was held at the Three Hills Sports centre athletics track. In this competition, we went up against 13 local schools, and our teams performed excellently overall. Highlights included Sienna from Year 8, who earned four medals; Alycia from Year 8, who threw the shot put over 8 metres and Connie in year 10 who ran 1500m coming in first place by 20 metres. Our 12 A level PE students helped the Highworth PE department to run this event and proved to be very a great addition to the department. We received feedback from other schools to say how impressed they were with our students in KS3 who also helped them to run events once they had finished competing. These are the overall results for each year group: Year 7 4th, Year 8 1st, Year 9 2nd, Year 10 1st . Well done to everyone who took part!
