Extracurricular
Science Club KS3
Aims for the Science Club are to:
- Provide the chance to explore and investigate science (Chemistry, Biology & Physics) and Engineering, including topics not covered in the curriculum, and enrich learning.
- Relate Science Club topics to historical events, where possible.
- Build students confidence in a small and friendly environment, and make friends.
- Promote STEM subject interest and engagement.
- Inspire students to reach their full potential in science by providing them with access to exciting hands-on experiments, enthusiastic Science mentors and a supportive environment that encourages their intellectual development.
- Increase knowledge and awareness to understand the relevance of Science and Engineering in our daily lives.
- Explore careers in STEM-related subjects.
- Most importantly – have fun!
