GCSE & A Level History Film Club
Throughout the academic year we will be hosting screenings of films related to the GCSE and/or A Level History courses. A list of the films being screened has been sent to parents/carers and can be found on display in the History department.

Interested in global affairs? Climate change? Conflict resolution? Model UN is a simulation game allowing students to step into the shoes of international diplomats and attempt to solve pressing global issues with new and innovative ideas and compelling debates.
GCSE & A Level History Book Club
Students can come along to discuss a variety of historical fiction related to the GCSE and/or A Level History specifications to expand their knowledge, and explore the use of fiction as a historical source. Pictures of some of the books we will be discussing are on display in the History department.
Bar Mock Trial
The Bar Mock Trial club runs from September to February for students in Years 11-13. This is a competition organised by the UK charity Young Citizens and has been available in schools since 1989. Mock Trial was designed to provide an experience that helps develop the legal capability of young people and support their understanding of how the law touches every aspect of their life.
