Cooking for Year 8
Building on skills introduced during Year 7, the Year 8 cooking club offers students five further cooking opportunities to prepare food in school. The after-school club is planned to run during Terms 3 - 5 subject to numbers, from 3.45 to 5.00 PM. Examples of dishes that the students might prepare include Breakfast Muffins, Macaroni Cheese, Savoury Scones, Swiss Roll and Pizza. Food will be prepared from scratch and students are requested to provide the ingredients for this activity along with a suitable container for transportation. Ingredients for PP students are available from the school upon request.
