U12 Highworth Football Team Kent Cup Winners
Well done to our U12 football team for their amazing achievement of winning the Kent Cup. The game played on Saturday 22 March was very close and both teams had chances to score but both keepers were in the way. Townley Grammar School were playing well but Highworth were organised in defence. The second half was all Highworth and Belle (7VM) was in control in midfield shooting from nearly half way and just missing the frame. At the end, the game finished 0-0 and both schools shared the trophy.
