Animal Aid Workshop
On 1 October, GCSE Food Preparation and Nutrition welcomed Karin and Mark from Animal Aid into school. Ten of our students were able to hear the reasons for choosing a vegan diet as part of their work on understanding special diets. Under Karin's instruction, the students prepared and ate a vegan chilli which was delicious and then enjoyed some jelly and ice cream afterwards. We would like to thank Animal Aid for providing the ingredients and the speakers for this excellent activity.
