School Mental Health Award
The school is delighted to announce that we have won a silver status School Mental Health Award from the Carnegie Centre of Excellence for Mental Health in Schools. Mrs Hills is our School Mental Health Lead and has been working to increase the focus on wellbeing. She has worked with our Place2Be team, the NHS Emotional Wellbeing Team and our Higworth Student Wellbeing Ambassadors (SWAPs) to ensure that we are successful in our REACH ethos. Students have also been working with local primary schools. Congratulations to Mrs Hills and everyone who contributes to the health, happiness and wellbeing in the school and local community.
