Carnival Culture Day

The Carnaval de Nice was the inspiration for our Carnival Culture Day on Friday 24 February. With help from the Maison du Tourisme in Nice, students discovered the Carnaval’s history and traditions. Mentor Groups competed to make the most impressive carnival masks and design the most magnificent costumes. At lunchtime, PAS2 was transformed into a “Carnival Village” with games, competitions and crafts inspired by stalls at the Nice Carnival Village, including the popular “Cultura” mask-making workshop. Our students demonstrated their skills in these traditional games and hundreds of prizes were won!
